Manhattan Aero

Aero won't reconnect after changing your Wi-Fi password

If you’ve changed your Wi-Fi password, the Aero may not accept the new one. It shows Unable to connect, and choosing Try again and entering the new password brings you back to the same message, even though your other devices connect fine. Restarting the Aero or your router won’t clear it. This is a software issue we’re aware of.

The fix

A factory reset clears it:

  1. Press the settings button (bottom right of the Aero remote).
  2. Go to System, then Factory Reset, and confirm.
  3. When first-time setup starts, join your Wi-Fi with the new password.

A reset signs you out of Freely and all your apps, and returns your settings to their defaults, so have your sign-in details ready. There’s more detail in How do I factory reset the Aero?.

This will be corrected in a future software update. If the Aero still won’t connect after a reset, please get in touch.
