Can I connect the S4•R to an older TV without HDMI?
No, the S4•R is designed for TVs with HDMI inputs, and only has an HDMI output for audio and video.
HDMI-to-analogue converters are available for older TVs with SCART or RCA inputs, but we don’t recommend them. Picture quality can be poor, and menus may be difficult to read.
Some older Manhattan products, such as the Manhattan T1, T2‑R and SX, worked with our optional Analogue AV Kit. These models had a mini-jack analogue output, which the S4•R does not have. This means the S4•R is not compatible with the Analogue AV Kit.
