Can the Aero connect to smart home systems like Control4 or Home Assistant?
Not currently. The Manhattan Aero doesn’t have a public API for smart home systems like Control4, Crestron, Nice/Élan, or Home Assistant.
We’ve raised this with TiVo, who make the operating system the Aero runs on. It’s on their backlog, but with no commitment to if or when they’ll look at it, so we wouldn’t recommend planning an installation around it.
In the meantime, you can use HDMI-CEC to give your TV remote some control of the Aero, which can be enough for many use cases.
