Can I turn off the promotional banner on the Home screen?
No. The promotional banner at the top of the TiVo Home screen – a carousel that rotates through promoted shows and services – is part of the TiVo interface and is managed by TiVo, not Manhattan or your Aero, so there’s no setting to switch it off. Unticking channels under the recommendation settings doesn’t remove it either.
The practical tip: press Down when you land on the Home screen and the banner scrolls off-screen, leaving your apps and recommendations in view.
