Live Pause

Overview

The T4•R con­tinu­ously records up to two hours of the chan­nel you’re watch­ing in a buf­fer. This means you can pause live TV or rewind to some­thing you missed – without hav­ing set a recording.

Enter­ing Live Pause

There are a few ways to enter Live Pause:

  • Press to pause what you’re watching
  • Press to rewind
  • Press to skip back 10 seconds

Once you’re in Live Pause, the Play­back Bar appears briefly at the bot­tom of the screen. Press or OK to bring it back up. The bar shows the cur­rent pro­gramme and chan­nel – rewind past the start of a pro­gramme and it’ll update to show the pre­vi­ous one.

Con­trolling Playback

  • Press or OK to pause and resume
  • Press or to rewind or fast for­ward, increas­ing the speed with each press
  • Press to skip back 10 seconds, or to skip for­ward 30 seconds

Record­ing from Live Pause

To record the pro­gramme you’re watch­ing, press . This will include any of the pro­gramme already in the buffer.

Chan­ging chan­nel clears the buf­fer and starts record­ing fresh on the new channel.

Return­ing to Live TV

Press or EXIT to leave Live Pause and return to live TV.
