Does the T4•R remote support Bluetooth?
No. The remote supplied with the T4•R uses infrared (IR), not Bluetooth, so it needs a clear line of sight to the front of the box.
If the box is inside a closed media cabinet, use an IR repeater. Position the repeater’s emitter over or close to the box’s infrared sensor.
Remote Pairing does not use Bluetooth. It changes the infrared channel used by the remote and box, allowing multiple Manhattan boxes to be used in the same room without interfering with each other.
