Do I need to use the HDMI cable provided with the T4•R?
We recommend using the HDMI cable supplied with your T4•R. It is rated for 18 Gbps and supports 4K at 60 Hz.
Older HDMI 1.4‑era cables may not carry enough bandwidth for a 4K signal and can cause picture freezing, picture loss, flickering or interference.
If you need a replacement or longer cable, choose one certified Premium High Speed (18 Gbps). These are often sold as “HDMI 2.0” or “4K 60Hz”. An Ultra High Speed (48 Gbps) cable also works.
