Power consumption information

The T3 has 3 standby modes: 'Smart' (default), 'Sleep' and 'Max Energy Saver'. Depending on the standby mode and whether there is a network connection, there are 2 standby states:

  • Sleep/Networked: the T3 maintains network connectivity and is always ready to instantly wake up.
  • Passive: the T3 does not maintain network connectivity and requires around 20 seconds to wake up

When there is no network connection:

  • In 'Smart' and 'Max Energy Saver' modes, the T3 enters the 'Passive' standby state when the standby button is pressed on the remote control or there is no user interaction for the 'Auto Standby' duration.
  • In 'Sleep' mode, the T3 enters the 'Sleep/Networked' standby state when the standby button is pressed on the remote control or there is no user interaction for the 'Auto Standby' duration.

When there is a network connection:

  • In 'Smart' mode, the T3 enters the 'Sleep/Networked' standby state when the standby button is pressed on the remote control or:
    • There is a TV signal and no user interaction for the 'Auto Standby' duration
    • There is no TV signal and no user interaction for 20 minutes.
  • In 'Sleep' mode, the T3 enters the 'Sleep/Networked' standby state when the standby button is pressed on the remote control or there is no user interaction for the 'Auto Standby' duration
  • In 'Max Energy Saver' mode, the T3 enters the 'Passive' standby state when the standby button is pressed on the remote control or there is no user interaction for the 'Auto Standby' duration.

Please note that the Wi-Fi interface can be completely deactivated by pressing SETTINGS and selecting: Internet > Disable Wi-Fi
