No HDMI input on your TV?

The Manhattan T1 and T2-R are designed for HD, which requires HDMI. However, if you have an older TV that doesn’t have HDMI, these models can almost certainly be connected to your TV using the Analogue AV Kit (not included). Your TV simply needs either of these inputs:

Included are a cable and adapter that will connect your Manhattan box to either of the inputs above.

⚠ Using a third party cable

You can purchase the 3.5mm 4-pole Minijack to RCA AV cable from third parties. However, as there is no standard for the 4-pole Minijack, please be aware of the following:

• The yellow, white and red cables may be mixed up when used with your Manhattan box. Normally the yellow cable carries the video signal, the red cable carries the right audio channel and the white cable carries the left audio channel. You might need to experiment to find out which is which when using a third party cable.
• Please check the length of the 3.5mm 4-pole Minijack plug (see below). The correct size of the plug is 14mm. Connecting with an incorrect plug size, for example with the 17mm type, will not work and may damage the AV socket of your Manhattan box
